Mr. Arthur Gautreau, age 70, of Foyer St-Thomas and formerly of Pré-d'en-Haut, passed away at his residence on Saturday December 19, 1998 following a lengthy illness.

Born in Gautreau Village, he was the son of the late Adélard Gautreau and the late Agathe Boudreau. He attended Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church.


He is survived by his wife, Rachel (Belliveau) Gautreau; one daughter, Alice (Steven) Gautreau at home; one son, Mario (Lisa) Gautreau. Memramcook Est; four sisters, Irène (Alfred) Bourgault, Rock Forest, PQ, Bernadette (late Arthur) St-Martin, Wahnapeter, ON, Edna (late Edgar) Cormier, Bernice (Léo) Lirette both of Dover; three brothers, Robert Gautreau, Pré-d'en-Haut, Georgie (Jeannette) Gautreau, Grimsby, ON, Jean-Paul (Tina) Gautreau, Waltham, Mass.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Oliva, Yvonne and one brother, Oscar.

Remains resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with the Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut on Monday, December 21, 1998 at 7pm, Father Sylvio Doiron officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
